REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS FOR WORKS

DESCRIPTION: The University of Namibia invites quotations for construction of a fire hydrant system and replacement of the existing fire detection system at Sam Nujoma Campus in Henties Bay. The works include pipeline installation and connections, fire hydrants, valves and chambers, a water meter chamber, fire extinguishers and assembly-point signage, and decommissioning and replacement of the existing fire detection system with an addressable system. The fire detection scope includes GSM alarm communication, testing and commissioning, as-built drawings, and 12 months of maintenance. The works completion period is 120 calendar days after acceptance and issue of the Purchase Order. A compulsory site familiarization meeting is scheduled for 6 November 2026 at 10:00 at the Sam Nujoma Campus Administration Building boardroom in Henties Bay.
