REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTING SERVICES – FIRM); QUALITY AND COST BASED SELECTION (QCBS)

DESCRIPTION: Consulting firms are invited to submit expressions of interest for a comprehensive study to inform the reimagining of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU). The work includes diagnosing the current regional integration framework and developing actionable proposals on tariff setting, Common Revenue Pool management, regional funding mechanisms, industrialisation, movement of people, cross-border economic zones, and related legal and institutional reforms. Deliverables include inception, draft and final reports and participation in a validation workshop. The assignment is expected to take 21 weeks. Expressions of interest must be submitted electronically as a PDF.
