Payments Association of Namibia (PAN)
The Payments Association of Namibia (PAN) was Constituted on 12 August 2005 Under the Repealed Payment System Management Act, 2003 (Act No.18 of 2003). In Terms of Section 5 of the Payment System Management Act, 2023 (Act No.14 of 2023) (PSM Act), PAN Continues to Exist as a Juristic Person. PAN is Entrusted to Diligently Execute its Prescribed Mandate, as Described in the PSM Act and in Accordance with the PAN Constitution. This Mandate Encompasses Acting as a Collaborative Platform for its Members, Making and Administering Technical Standards and Rules for Member Participation Within Payment Systems and Associated Forums, and Actively Participating in Regional and International Initiatives and Platforms, Among Others.
