August 26 Holding Company (PTY) Ltd, is an incorporated company which was established on the 14th August 1998 and it is 100% owned by the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs. The ministry is the shareholding ministry on behalf of the government of the Republic of Namibia. The company has diversified equity interest in nine (9) companies in the telecommunications, construction, agriculture, logistics, insurance, hospitality, fuel supply and manufacturing industries.
The company is run on sound business principles. Its subsidiaries are open for joint ventures with other companies or private individuals.
