REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS
DESCRIPTION: Erongo RED requests quotations for the supply, installation, commissioning and operation of a system to monitor transformer temperatures and assess airflow and ventilation in selected indoor distribution substations. The system is intended for 11 kV/420 V transformers approximately 315–800 kVA and will be deployed in Walvis Bay. The requested measurements include transformer, radiator and ambient temperatures and airflow. Data should be time-stamped, recorded at user-selectable intervals including five minutes, and downloadable in an Excel-compatible format. Online access is optional. Quotations should describe the system, sensors, communications, installation and implementation period, support and maintenance, lead time, and pricing, including rental and applicable installation, commissioning and removal costs. Alternative equivalent or improved solutions may be proposed; Erongo RED prefers a monthly rental option.
