REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

DESCRIPTION: Short-term consultancy to independently review and quality-assure the baseline assessment of how sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) measures, technical barriers to trade (TBT), and non-tariff barriers (NTBs) are administered across SACU. The consultant will assess the draft baseline and proposed tools and frameworks, review evidence and stakeholder feedback, identify gaps, benchmark against relevant standards and practices, and provide technical recommendations and validation support. Deliverables include an inception report and work plan, technical review and gap analysis, consolidated comments and recommendations, and a final technical review and quality assurance report. Bids must be submitted electronically to procurement@sacu.int.
