The Free Press of Namibia Hereby Invites Bidders to Provide Catering Services as Per the Following Criteria:
The Nedbank Namibian Newspaper Cup Takes Place from 18 to 21 April 2025 at Outjo in the Kunene Region. Our Vision is to Empower the Local Community of the Kunene Region Through the Sourcing of Catering Services from the Kunene Small and Medium Enterprises.
The Sponsors, in Collaboration with the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of The Nedbank Namibian Newspaper Cup, Invite Well-Established and Reputable Caterers to Prepare and Provide Food to Regional Teams and Match Officials, Starting with Dinner from 17 April until Lunch on 21 April.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Successful Bidders Will Be Allocated Specific Regional Teams to Cater for a Specific Period During the Easter Weekend.
- Meals Will Only Be Served at the Hostel’s Dining Halls or Sportsfield Halls.
- Meals Will Be Prepared in the Hostel Kitchen by the Caterers.
- Caterers May Be Allowed to Prepare Meals from their Own Kitchens at No Additional Cost to the Sponsors.
- Caterers Must Ensure that Teams and Match Officials are Served Breakfast Between 06h00 to 09h00; Lunch Between 12h00 to 15h00 and Dinner Between 18h00 to 21h00 for the Duration of the Competition.
- Caterers Must Comply with Basic Food Hygiene Standards.
- Caterers are Expected to Serve the Meals Using their Own Crockery and Cutlery.
- Caterers Should Ensure that Dining Halls and Kitchens are Properly Cleaned After Every Meal Served.
Bidders Must Obtain the Bid Documents from the Personal Assistant of the Governor of the Kunene Region on Wednesday, 19 March from 10h00. The Deadline for Submitting the Bid Document is by Close of Business on Tuesday, 26 March.
NB: Please Note that the Newspaper Cup Bid Evaluation Team Will Contact All Shortlisted Bidders for Inspection Visits at your Catering Venue and Workstation.
Please Note that Only a Limited Number of Bidding Forms are Issued. No Photocopied Bid Documents Will Be Accepted.
