Barloworld Equipment Namibia Hereby Invites Qualified, Competent and Experienced Contractors to Submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Construction of New Parking Structures and Installation of Interlocks at the Windhoek Facility.
DESCRIPTION: Construction of New Employee Parking’s and Installation of Interlocks

1. SCOPE OF WORK:
a) Construction of New Parking Structures
Interested Companies Must Demonstrate Expertise in the Following Areas:
• Conduct a Full Site Inspection to Assess Fire Risks, Occupancy Types, and Required Detection Coverage.
• Extend Existing Employee Parking with 16 Additional Parking Units at the Back Area.
• Construct 3 New Parking Units in Front of the Existing Storage Units.
• Excavate, Prepare, Fabricate and Erect Structural Components Including:
• Concrete Stub Bases, Columns, Rafters, Beams, Purlins and Roofing Sheets
• Installation of Ridging, Gutters, Downpipes and Water-Tight Roofing Systems
• Ensure All Works Comply with Structural, Safety and Building Standards.
• Erect New Roof Structure Identical in Method and Standard to the Parking Structures.
b) Installation of New Interlocks
• Prepare and Compact Subgrade.
• Install 80 mm Interlocks at:
• General Waste Area to Training Centre (Approx. 942 m²)
• Track Bay to Perimeter Wall/Water Reclamation Plant (Approx. 396 m²)
• Perform Finishing Work Including Concrete Edging and Site Housekeeping.
2. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Interested Companies Must Submit the Following Documentation:
• Company Profile Indicating Relevant Experience in Structural Works, Roofing and Paving
• Company Registration Certificate (CM29)
• Company VAT Certificate
• Copy of Identification and Certificates of the Shareholders as Listed in Company Registration
• Valid NAMRA Good Standing Certificate
• Valid Social Security Good Standing Certificate
• At Least 3 References for Similar Construction Projects, with One from a Reputable Industrial Client.
• Valid Employment Equity Commission Certificate
• Bank Confirmation Letter (Not Older than 3 Months)
This EOI Serves as a Pre-Qualification Stage, Only Qualified Shortlisted Companies Will Be Invited to Participate in the Formal Tender Process.
